About Kennedy Dalton Psychotherapy

Paul and Aishling take a practical, grounded approach to psychotherapy and counselling. They focus on what is happening in your life right now and what will genuinely help.  They “shine a light into the darkened corners” of your difficulties so that problems become clearer and more manageable.

Drawing on a toolkit of tried and tested techniques, including CBT, integrative approaches and acceptance-based therapies, they tailor treatment to your needs rather than offering a one-size-fits-all model.

Their style is warm, professional, respectful and straightforward, with space for difficult emotions as well as honest conversations and gentle challenges.  Many clients are referred to them by their GP or former clients who’ve benefited from working with Aishling or Paul.

Over the years they have built a strong, credible track record of helping people reduce anxiety, cope with loss, manage mood, rebuild confidence and make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives. Clients often describe leaving sessions feeling lighter, more hopeful, and clearer about their next steps.

She has a MA in Integrative Psychotherapy (which includes CBT) and is a member of APCP.  She also holds a MSc and MBA and has 35 years’ experience in a support role in the third level educational sector. She sees clients both in-person or online.

Their practice offers a broad, inclusive range of therapeutic modalities in response to client’s complex needs and preferences.  Both are Garda vetted, fully insured (Lloyds) and work within the ethical guidelines of the Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists in Ireland (APCP).
